Description
What is Gua Sha?
It is a jade or quartz stone used in Traditional Chinese Medicine since the 7th century to massage the face and neck. It helps to release toxins, activates circulation and provides a feeling of relaxation, relieving tension in the facial muscles, additionally it is used for therapeutic purposes by acupuncturists and practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine to treat pain in specific areas of the body.
Today, it has become popular worldwide as an essential accessory in a woman’s “necessaire” to complete her beauty routines.
It is always advisable to use a facial oil, such as our Amacay, to promote the glide of the Gua sha on the skin and always hold the opposite side of the movement with your hand so that there is no dragging of the skin.

For the eye contour
Take the stone in your hand and position the slit between the two circular parts against your zygome close to the nose, slide the Gua Sha towards the temple, covering the entire lower part of the eye. Do it 6 times always in that direction for each eye.
For the forehead
Taking the stone in the same way as for the eye contour, position the Gua Sha close to the nose on the eyebrow, leave the smaller edge as a fulcrum and slide the Gua Sha towards the temple, covering the entire eyebrow. Do it 6 times always in that direction for each eye.
For the jaw
Always taking the stone by the tip and positioning the jaw bone between the two semi-circumferences of the Gua Sha, slide from the chin to the ear. Do it 6 times always in that direction on each side of the face.
For the neck
Taking the Gua Sha from the concave side, position it below the jaw and slide the stone (using the convex side) down to the end of the neck. Then use the concave side to move in the opposite direction. Do it 6 consecutive times in each direction on each side of the face.
